About Mercedes

 

 

Mercedes Paradiso is an author and poet. Though she also has a background as an attorney, she feels most herself when writing poems and novels. She earned her bachelor's degree from USC and her law degree from Seattle University School of Law.

She was born in New York City, raised in Southern California, and now lives with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

She is the author of "Estella and the Dream Traveler," a novel with elements of time travel, magic, and romance, and "thunder and daisy," a poetry collection. Her second poetry collection is set to be published in March 2026.
